Another 1392 compute cores added to the infrastructure of UCY-CompSci

A new cluster became operational in October 2012, consisting of 800 cores and 1.6 Terrabytes of distributed memory. The new machine represents the first step in an effort to upgrade the computational power of UCY-CompSci. In 2013, the machine has been upgraded to 1392 cores and 2.6 Terrabytes of distributed memory. Additional upgrades are scheduled in 2014.

UCY-CompSci participates in new Marie Curie ITN project HEXACOMM
