Another 1392 compute cores added to the infrastructure of UCY-CompSci
A new cluster became operational in October 2012, consisting of 800 cores and 1.6 Terrabytes of distributed memory. The new machine represents the first step in an effort to upgrade the computational power of UCY-CompSci. UCY-CompSci participates in new Marie Curie ITN project HEXACOMM
The University of Cyprus is participating in a new Marie Curie Initial Training Network on “Human Exposure to Aerosol Contaminants in Modern Microenvironments” (HEXACOMM) that will be launched in January of 2013.
